Northern Peru Special Adventure

The Northern Peru Special Adventure is a pre-Inca delight, designed for the curious minded and the adventurous who enjoy days of trekking in lonely mountains.  Starting in Chiclayo we enjoy a day of visiting Tucume and the Sican and Royal Tombs Museums.  Heading east we drive to Chachapoyas for land of the Cloud People.  You will enjoy a couple days of acclimatization to the easier accessible sites including Kuelap and the Gocta Waterfall and then we head deeper in to the higher mountains full of tombs and “lost” cities.

This trek is horse supported and is aimed at confident hikers. The highest trekking point is 4100m (12290ft) and up to 8 hours of walking in any one day.  It is full service, with three sit down cooked meals each day, dining and toilet tent.
