The Tombs and Citadels Trek takes you to some of our favourite places in the Chachapoyas area. You will visit some of the easier places to reach in preparation for your trek to Tajopampa. Tajopampa is located close to La Petaca, an enormous cliff with many tombs - we estimate something like 150 - and pictographs. Higher than La Petaca is another cliff called Diablo with even more tombs. Coming out from Diablo Huasi we visit another citadel called Boveda surrounded by many ancient terraces.
