It has been on various TV documentaries after mummies were found in tombs overlooking the lake in 1997. Our trek includes the sarcophagi of Karajia, Kuelap and of course a visit to the museum of Leimebamba where the mummies and artifacts found at the Lake of the Condors are now stored and cared for.
